Our Values and our Why - our Purpose- are the core of who we are and what we stand for. Without a clear understanding of our core values, we can feel lost. Join us for this first session to explore and clarify your own core values, your internal guide and compass to the life you truly want.
We all have a harsh inner critic as highly talented and brilliant women physicians. Get to know your own inner critic and leverage the power of befriending her so that you can start creating the life you want.
Self-Compassion is giving ourselves the same compassion and love as we would a close friend. Self-compassion is the secret to creating a life that is truly free and your own.
Female sea otters are known to band together and create a "Raft" in the water to survive in stormy seas. Just like otters, none of us women physicians can do it alone. We all need close friends who've got our back and who we can lean on. Join us for this final session to learn how to build your own Raft of Otters and create the life you want!
A Message from Tammie & Luisa
Co-Founders of Pink Coat, MD
In our over 30 years combined direct patient care experience serving thousands of patients and families in our communities, we know what it’s like to love our profession but feel the joy for practicing medicine dwindle over the years as the ever-changing healthcare landscape makes us feel all the more isolated, overworked, undervalued, unappreciated, and like just another cog-in-the wheel.
We created Pink Coat, MD to help all women physicians rekindle their joy, purpose, and inner peace as healers.
Your core values, your innate gifts, and what you stand for. Explore who you really are, and what you want in life.
Befriend your Inner Critic, often the harshest critic in our lives! Learn to befriend your Inner Critic as a part of -- but not who you are.
Develop your Self-Compassion muscle. Learn how to give yourself the same compassion as we know you strive to give to everyone else as a hardworking, caring woman physician.
Grow and develop your own self-awareness and self-leadership during this bootcamp. You will be amazed how much you will learn about yourself in these short few days.
Connect with other like-minded, highly-accomplished women physicians just like you, in a safe, confidential and loving space and community. None of us can do this alone, we need each other!
Dr. Tammie and Dr. Luisa will lead the group in a guided group coaching session, including group and small-group discussion and time for individual reflection.
Yes! We will provide recordings to those who have signed up for this Bootcamp for 30 days after the conclusion of the Bootcamp. We however encourage you to attend the Bootcamp live as much as possible, as you will get the most out of this experience with live participation.

It’s hard to know where to start to describe how much I have learned from and grown through my involvement with Pink Coat, MD. I learned throughout my training that you had to have support in many forms, but once I became an attending I found I still needed that support. Having a community of similarly experienced women of all life stages in medicine really provides the support that I feel so many would benefit from.
- Dr. Sarah
The Pink Coat Retreat was re-energizing and healing spending time with such positive and amazing women. The ability to share an experience with and feel the support from those who truly understand what it's like to be a female physician is life changing. The retreat along with all the other learning and connection opportunities Pink Coat MD creates for us are priceless.
- Dr. Anne Marie
The parent coaching ALONE is worth the cost of membership. I have learned about mindful self-compassion this year and this has been life changing for my mental well-being and energy. These resources are vetted and actually WORK. While we clearly don’t have ALL the answers for the struggles we face at work, this is a community of women physicians that are thoughtful, kind, courageous, intelligent, supportive.
- Dr. Liz
Co-Founders of Pink Coat, MD
Dr. Luisa Duran grew up in the San Francisco, Bay Area where she loves practicing as a board-certified endocrinologist. She is a speaker, author, the Co-Founder of Pink Coat, MD, and the co-author of the bestselling How to Thrive as a Woman Physician.
A graduate from Brown University where she earned her bachelor’s and medical degree, she developed expertise in diabetes at the Joslin Diabetes Center with Harvard Medical School. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, affiliate of Stanford University, and her fellowship in endocrinology, nutrition, and metabolism at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Duran strongly believes that helping women doctors thrive in clinical practice creates a healthier, more equal, more joyful world! She understands the added challenges unique to women doctors given her decade of clinical experience in various high-pressure healthcare environments across the United States. Speaking nationally about “real-world” clinical practice, she realized many women doctors share the same challenges. After learning of a fellow physician friend’s crisis following severe physician burnout AND hearing her young daughter say she wants to “become a doctor,” Dr. Duran was propelled to collaborate with industry experts to provide solutions and change the future of medicine for women. Dr. Duran is profoundly grateful for her supportive husband, family and friends, and her three young children who inspire her every day to make the world a better place!
