Dr. Luisa Duran grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where today she loves practicing as a board-certified endocrinologist. A graduate from Brown University where she earned her bachelor’s and medical degree and developed a love for diabetes care at the Joslin Diabetes Center with Harvard Medical School.
She completed her internal medicine residency training at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, an affiliate of Stanford University, and her fellowship in endocrinology, nutrition, and metabolism at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Luisa strongly believes that helping women physicians thrive in clinical practice creates a healthier, more equal, more joyful world! She understands the added challenges unique to women physicians given her decade of clinical experience in various high-pressure healthcare environments across the United States. Speaking nationally about clinical practice, she realized how many women physicians share the same challenges.
Learning of a colleague's crisis following severe physician burnout AND hearing her young daughter say she wants to “become a physician,” propelled Luisa to collaborate with industry experts to provide solutions and change the future of medicine for women.
When not charting, she enjoys life with her husband & 3 little kids, hiking, reading, writing, and savoring being an imperfect human!

Dr. Tammie Chang is board-certified pediatric hematology/oncology physician practicing in the Pacific Northwest. She is the Medical Director of the Physician/APP Wellness Program for her health system.
She earned her bachelor’s degree and medical degree from Brown University and completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Massachusetts. She completed her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
At a critical time in Tammie’s career, she experienced debilitating burnout. She was exhausted in every way—emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually— and was desperate for a way out. She sought help and solutions in order to survive and vowed to dedicate her life to supporting other women physicians to go beyond surviving to thriving.
Tammie is a certified leadership coach for women physicians. She received her training from the Co-Active Training Institute and has additional training and certifications as a John Maxwell Leadership Coach, a Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach, and a Tara Mohr Playing Big Facilitator.
Playing Rachmaninoff and Chopin on the piano and being active in the beautiful outdoors with her husband and furbabies are the favorite moments of her day!
